We are seeking an experienced leader with superior management and organizational skills and a strong work ethic to manage our shelter operations, which include our animal care departments, adoptions, admissions, field operations, clinic, behavior, and to assist our Executive Director in performance of her duties and temporarily perform said duties, as needed, in the absence of the E.D.

 

At least 3 years experience in the animal welfare industry is required, preferably in a shelter serving 10,000+ animals per year. GBHS has an annual budget of 1.6 million. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, and be a mentor and team player.   He/she should possess a minimum of 5 years senior management experience in a service or nonprofit industry or in the animal care industry.
